So here I am writing my first blog in shopify.com. I have to say, this is quite an experience. I have never done this kind of thing before so, it was fun doing this. Posting products to sell and stuff. I realized it was so easy to create something like this (An online store or an e-commerce business). All you need is a Website, a Payment Gateway, and a Shopping Cart. Then ta da! You now have an E-Commerce business. Nowadays, it’s easier with the solutions that people develop to make life easier. I mean, compared to before, it would take what? months, years just to make something like this? So I have to give it to those people behind these great solutions to make life easier. Soon, I think i’ll be one of them. Hopefully I’ll be as successful as them, or even yet, better!
Okay so my store’s name is The E! Shop. Basically, the E! stands for my second name which is Evan. I chose to retail products. Specifically, The new Skullcandy brand Headphones, which was developed in Utah, USA. It’s the new hip headphone nowadays. I didn’t choose this just because I have one and I like them. I have thought of this strategically. This is because, Skullcandy only has a few stores that sells them here locally in the philippines. These stores compose of Power Mac, Mobile 1, R.O.X., J&S. That’s pretty much it I think. The problem is, Not all malls have these stores. It’s only Power Mac and Mobile 1 that has many outlets. The thing is since skullcandy has so much variety of designs and categories of headphones, Power Mac and Mobile 1 don’t have the specific model/color that the customers want. I know this because I have experienced this when I was buying/looking for a pair of skullcandys I wanted. Thankfully though, I’ve found it in one store and it was the last piece! So I had to take it. I’ve also learned from the sales person of several shops like Digital Hub who doesn’t carry them say that a lot of people are really looking for skullcandys. So that’s the reason I decided to sell these Skullcandy brand Headphones, there on demand.
